I found the atheros ar on ebay and it says that it is for hp so i am going to provide the link and i am hoping that someone here could tell me if that specific wifi card will work for my hp envy 14 laptop? Sorry that didn’t work for you. If you don’t know the full model number, please post the product number which can be found on the same sticker as the serial number. Is this a problematic wireless adapter and should I replace it?

Message 1 of When you installed that driver, were there any changes you had to make in the Registry or Advanced Settings? You can dowload the driver the same way you posted your question–via another computer.

You might need to change the mcs set in the ht-ssid-profile, but then other clients on that ssid won’t benefit from the higher rates.

It’s still on 5GHz but speed is limited by router. I need the product number.
