When i turn on my laptop my wifi card works well but if i take the interface down using the ifconfig wlan0 down change my mac and get it up again it stops working, i cannot conect anymore to any network the only way i been able to get the wifi card to work again is reloading de the kernel module ath5k but by doing so i lose the mac change i did before, this function was completely functional in ubuntu 8.
